Corona - be safe!

For those of you about to go traveling to speak, please be safe and refrain from taking any unnecessary chances.

Hi Speakers,
I genuinely hope that you and yours will be safe and get through this corona-situation with nothing more than a few canceled speaking opportunities to worry about.
It seemed a little crazy to write about silence as a negotiation tool this week, as other things are probably weighing more prevalently on the mind of readers anyway. So, instead, here are some resources that have valid information concerning the Corona outbreak.
David Heymann (who led the fight against SARS) explains what is happening, and what we do not know yet.

If you need to travel to give a speak, learn more about the outbreak in the country you are going to here.
The American Center for Disease Control in Atlanta is making information available for travelers here.
The WHO in Geneva can also be recommended, and they are here. I don’t think The WHO will win any awards for making the data easily available.
Remember to sneeze into your elbow, use hand sanitizers, and be careful with shaking hands.
I know you are probably tired of hearing about Covid-19. But as speakers, we need to be extra careful. We are around a lot of people at times.
If I have missed any essential resource, please let me know, and I’ll include it when possible.
I’m sure you will be fine, but it doesn’t cost to think twice. Be careful.
Until next week,
Did you enjoy this issue?
